SULDOPHOR

Suldophor stands on the opposite side of the strait from Theymarsh, also on a peninsula (thrusting from the southeastern edge of the land of the western empires).  A dusty trail leads northwest towards small, foreign villages and the mountains that mark the ancient borders of the western kingdoms.

The city of Suldophor is built in perfectly square blocks with high walls surrounding its harbor.  Two defensible main gates lead into the city on the southeast and northwest sides.

The buildings of Suldophor are low, one-story, flat-roofed constructions of cobbled stone, brick or mudbrick, the richer ones surrounded by gardens and pools.

The streets of Suldophor are lain out in a grid-like pattern, broken every few blocks by gates and low, square towers.

The total population of Suldophor is about five-thousand individuals.
