The Well of Mimir

To explain the reasons behind creating a membership system here, publishers do not like purchasing anything previously made available to the public at large, though they do not mind material shared among a small group. As I am seeking eventual publication of much of the members-only material, restricting its viewing to a small membership lets me protect its future saleability while still allowing me to share and receive feedback without endangering the option to publish.

Did I say small group? Yes. Because of the need to limit access to the material, the number of memberships available will be finite, though I have not decided on an exact number yet. But registration is free and just helps me keep (general) track of who has been able to read the private materials. Note that I do not and will not sell any of the membership information provided. Though I may occasionally contact members via e-mail (though I can’t think off-hand of any reason to do so), I will not spam you, etc.

Membership at the Well of Mimir gives you access to materials non-members will not be able to read, mainly consisting of longer short-stories and sneak peeks at some of the various novel-length fiction for which I am seeking professional publication. Though the “members-only” material will not be uploaded as regularly or frequently as the free materials, it will also (hopefully) be better edited and written. So, if you are interested in becoming a member, you just have to register.

Finally, if you think of any cool benefits you would like to see for members — a mailing list or discussion forum, story polls, a place to publish your own stories and get feedback, or something else — just let me know and I’ll see what I can do about it.
