I realize there hasn’t been any content here in months. I must confess to having hit a dry spell, a slump, writer’s block — at least regarding shorts. When this changes, you’ll see content here. I may just need to refill the creative well.

Wee Update
Dec 10
I’ve made some minor edits to The Ogres & the Stars to hopefully improve the pacing and flow. Also, if you’ve had trouble posting comments or anything on the site lately, that bug should be fixed. Please let me know if you have any problems.
Ratings Feature
Nov 1
I’ve just added a new ratings feature and if it sees enough use, I will add a “Favorites” page. Note that I will be playing with the code and positioning a bit, so be forewarned it may change or ratings could be wiped until I make the feature permanent. Currently, anyone can rate a story, though I would like to be able to restrict the ratings for Members Only materials to members only (since they’re the only ones who can actually read and thus effectively rate such), but I’m still trying to work out how to do that. Questions or problems, let me know.
Inspiration
Oct 20
This week’s story was inspired by this homemade chess set some friends pointed me towards, though it took a year to find an end to the story.
About ‘The Dog’
Aug 31
I am looking for individuals interested in reading the full story who would be willing to provide feedback and critique. If you would be willing to do so, please e-mail me to that effect.
Pointless Mention
Aug 25
I have changed the About page to better reflect the current reality of the site and my thought process. I also made a minor update to the Membership page.
Rewrite
Aug 24
Today’s post is nothing new, just the final version of The Lost Ship presented as a whole piece. The five-part first draft that was here previously has been removed from the site and archived.
Info On Today’s Posting
Jun 9
Today’s story is an attempt to break the block that has been preventing me from completing and expanding The Children of Uru, the novella that I wrote for the 2005 NaNoWriMo. Comments are very welcome.
Long Winter Silence
Mar 27
Hopefully, the extra long entry this month made up for the previous lengthy silence.
November Silence
Dec 3
As I was participating in NaNoWriMo throughout November, and given there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of a readership here to mind, I put off updating the site with new shorts. I may begin updates again later in December or in January.
